The cultivar Four Seasons Spring (四季春 - Sijichun) does very well at low altitudes in Taiwan all year around. Famous because it grows quickly and yields abudantly. Although this type of plant is used for industrialized tea, our friends at Mingjian have an excellently maintained garden and, added to their ability to produce their wulong by hand, give this tea high-end qualities.
It is a very entertaining and accessible tea, with interesting floral notes and easy to drink. A very good tea to start discovering the flavors and aromas of Taiwan.
