On this page you will find information about the questions that our clients and friends ask us the most, ordered by category and relevance. Ranging from our products and their origin, to how we ship them to your home.

  • What currency is the website in?
    By default, all prices ​​on this website are in New Taiwanese Dollars (TWD), but there is an option at the top of the home page as well as on each product page to convert these values ​​to other currencies like USD or EUR.
  • What payment methods are available?
    On our website you can pay securely with credit cards, debit cards, and with the balance of your Paypal account. When reviewing your shopping cart you will have the option to make the payment with "Paypal Checkout" which allows you to pay directly with your credit or debit card without needing to have a Paypal account. Or if you prefer, you can also make payments directly with the balance of your Paypal account. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at the chat on this page or email in the footer. If you are shopping from Taiwan, please select Manual Payment and follow the instructions.
  • When will I receive my order?
    We usually process orders within a maximum of 48 business hours, during which time we prepare your order and dispatch it according to the shipping option available for the destination of your order. It is then the responsibility of the postal company (EMS, Courier, etc.) to dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that the process of entry in each country is different and may even require additional information from the recipient of the shipment. This is why you will receive an email with the tracking code as soon as we have it available so that you can stay tuned for any news. That said, shipments usually arrive within 7 to 14 business days after dispatch. Please visit our "Shipping" page for more information on times and available destinations.
  • What countries do we ship to?
    We currently ship to almost the entire world, with a few exceptions due to contingencies. We mainly use 3 shipping methods. EMS, which is an express service from Taiwan Post. This service is only available to certain destinations, so we invite you to visit our "Shipping" page to review the details. The value of this service fluctuates between $15 and $20 dollars Courier, which allows us to reach countries that are not available through EMS. This is a more expensive service, but we offer a flat rate of $45 dollars. It should be noted that this option is only available in case the EMS service is not available National, which is only available for shipments within Taiwan (including the main island and surrounding areas).   • What is single origin tea?
    Origin tea is any tea that comes from a source known to the consumer and/or trade. In the case of Yang Tea Taiwan, we can attest to the origin of all our teas, since we select them personally and directly with the producer.   • Oolong tea or Wulong tea?
    These are simply 2 ways of writing the word 烏龍 in Latin characters. It is the name commonly given to one of the 6 varieties of tea and is the most famous in Taiwan. The "updated" version to write these characters in latin characters is 'Wulong' according to the Pinyin system.
  • What is Wulong tea?
    In our blog ("The diversity of Taiwanese Wulong tea") we go into this topic in depth, but here we can tell you that: It is one of the 6 varieties of tea and the most famous in Taiwan. It is characterized by being produced at a fairly wide level of oxidation that ranges from approximately 8% to 70% or 85%.
